We love our Laguiole flatware!
Organic
Pick up some acorns from the back yard or a walk in the woods, or order these off Etsy.
We just love to decorate with moss balls - I scatter them on the table and set them in antique silver trophies and urns.
A dough bowl is great foundation for a centerpiece - fill it with acorns, moss balls, mini Indian corn - and/or produce like artichokes, baby eggplant and little pumpkins.
These wooden cutouts can be used as chargers or they would also be great on the buffet.
Like the idea of using the fairy lights with these tree trunk chargers to lighten them up.
Just ordered these myself! Love the texture and it's a bonus that they come with a storage case.
We string these bittersweet vine on the chandelier above my table - just love the look!
Nothing says "Thanksgiving" quite like Cornucopia. We have had three like these for 20 years and fill them with baby pumpkins, bittersweet vine, Indian corn and more!
Elegant

One of a kind, vintage finds
Why not incorporate some vintage finds? Copper, yellow ware, and vintage goblets will make a stunning and unforgettable setting. Here are some of our favorite finds... but you better hurry, they are one of a kind!
Antique boxes
How pretty would these vintage boxes be as a centerpiece on the table or buffet filled with gourds, succulents, pinecones and bittersweet vine?
Vintage trophies
We collect old trophies. I love to think about who won the trophy and how much it meant to him or her. I figure they must carry very good vibes. They are pretty holding moss balls, pine cones, a single rose or an artichoke. The sky is the limit!
Mix & match vintage goblets
I just love mixing and matching water goblets on the table. Keeping them in one color will provide a cohesive table - and I find amber glassware to be particularly festive at Thanksgiving. Mixing and matching colors, like in the first photo, establishes more of a funky kind of a feel. A few of the shop owners on ETSY curate collections.
Vintage Thanksgiving Trinkets
Vintage Turkey Platters
If one has not been handed down to you from previous generations, why not treat yourself, with plans to hand it down to the next generation? If you only own one Thanksgiving themed item, consider a vintage turkey platter!
Vintage yellow ware and pottery
I love yellow ware any time of year - but I think it is particularly fabulous on the Thanksgiving buffet - I love it mixed in with some copper.
Vintage copper cookware
Not only is copper great for cooking, I think it is so pretty and can go directly from the stove to the buffet.
